Mike Malcom has over 21 years of legal experience and is committed to the legal profession—incorporating honesty, integrity and courtesy when serving the public and the justice system. His practice specializes in litigation, specifically protecting the rights of his clients in cases which involve catastrophic injuries, car or truck accidents, brain injuries, premises accidents, medical malpractice and defective products. Mike has extensive prior experience actually defending insurance companies, so he possesses a unique understanding of the tactical methods employed by ‘the other side.’
Mike received his B.B.A. from the University of Georgia and his J.D. from the Walter F. School of Law, Mercer University. He served as a member and Administrative Editor for the Mercer Law Review from 1990 to 1992 and is a member of Phi Delta Phi. He is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the State Bar of Georgia and the Walton County Bar Association.
In addition to his law practice, Mike is committed to his community and education. He serves on the Board of Trustees for his high school alma mater, George Walton Academy, where his daughters currently attend. He serves on the Board of Directors and is an officer in the Monroe Rotary Club and is a graduate of the 2006 Leadership Georgia class. Mike is a life-long member of First Baptist Church of Monroe where he has served as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher. He has also served on the Allocation Committee for the United Way.
